Born Again
We have heard about children being born. We celebrate birthdays. You may be surprised to hear about this word "BORN AGAIN". The Lord Jesus Christ said "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God". It means that one has to be spiritually born to enter Heaven.
There are only 2 births. One is physical and another is spiritual. If a person believes in Jesus Christ he receives new life in his heart and he is born again. Like the physical birth, Spiritual birth is a definite experience and event. When we read Bible we receive God's life. Have you had the born again experience?

If there are 2 births (Physical & Spiritual) there is 1 death (Physical death) only. If there is 1 birth only (Physical birth) there are 2 deaths (Physical death & Spiritual death)
Spiritual death: Being eternally separated form God in hell.
The Bible is filled with many parables and historical incidents which elucidate its doctrines. No other subject is more clearly revealed and illustrated in the Bible than the truth that salvation is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Church membership, good works and a fine reputation (as good as they may be in themselves) have nothing to do with obtaining salvation. It is all by faith.
The true story about Nicodemus in John 3 is a case in point. He was an outstanding moral and religious citizen of his day. He was a member of the Sanhedrin - the highest Jewish assembly of Government. As a Pharisee, he belonged to one of the most respected religious groups. He very likely had the esteem of his fellow citizens and enjoyed a good standing in his community. In spite of all this, he wasn't saved! Not having been born again, he was lost in spite of his 'religion'.
Jesus spoke very plainly to him when He said , 'That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit of Spirit... Ye must be born again' (John 3:6,7). If Nicodemus with all of his goodness and religion had to be born again, who of us can claim exemption from this requirement?
Have you ever been born again? If not, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. The Bible says, 'But as many as received him, to them gave the power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name'.

A ruler once came to Jesus by night To ask Him the way of salvation and light; The Master made answer in words true and plain, 'Ye must be born again - Wm. T. Sleeper
THOUGHT: Better never to have been born, than not to be 'Born again'.
'What do you mean?' Nicodemus asked. Jesus replied, 'You are a respected Jewish teacher and yet you don't understand these things?'. I assure you, that I am telling you what we know and have seen and yet you won't believe us. But if you don't even believe me when I tell you about things that happen here on earth. How can you possibly believe, if I tell you what is going on in Heaven? For only I the son of man, have come to earth and will return the Heaven again. And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so I the son of man must be lifted up on a pole. So that every one who believes in me will have eternal life.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that every one who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. God did not send His son into the World to condemn it, but to save it. There is no judgment awaiting those who trust God. But those who don't trust Him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God.
This judgment is based on the fact. The life from Heaven came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the lights as their actions were evil. They hate the light because they want to sin in the darkness. They stay away form the light, for here, their sins will be exposed and they will be punished. But those who do what is right come to the light gladly, So everyone can see that they are doing what God wants. - New Living Translation Bible
The word 'Born- again' is used to explain one's personal spiritual experience. In fact this privilege is given to one who believes in Lord Jesus Christ and accepts Him as his / her Saviour and Lord. This is the beginning of one's spiritual life. All people irrespective of religion, creed, race, age, need to be born again. After being born again, one needs to grow in spiritual life.
Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. - John 1:12
BORN - AGAIN
Every person in this world needs to be Born-again. This rebirth is a Spiritual experience. For this human efforts cannot help. By God's grace one can be born-again. God's Spirit works through the Word of God for this rebirth. If you believe Jesus Christ and receive Him in your heart you could be born-again too. This wonderful beginning may not be spectacular or dramatic for all people. But definitely and specifically, one can experience a great change in his / her life towards God.
Have you ever heard about Jesus Christ? He loves you and gave His life for you on the Cross of Calvary. He took your sins and paid the debt for your sins. By believing Jesus you can experience great peace. Acknowledge that you are a sinner, and accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. Then a New Life will dawn in your life. After this new birth, you need to grow as you follow Jesus Christ as your Lord.
BORN - AGAIN
The physical birth which is the beginning of human life is a miracle. Similarly, the spiritual new birth is also a miracle. God works in the heart of a man / woman through His Word and changes his / her heart. The person who is born again is filled with great joy and begins a new life. A new born baby in the physical world needs feeding, caring and protection. Similarly the newly born- again person needs to come under the care and protection of Godly Christians. If you are born again, you need to read and meditate on the content of the Bible and pray every day.
